Organisation in Design, the founders, art directors and organisation behind Ventura Lambrate, would like to thank all exhibitors, visitors, press members and all people behind the scenes for their contribution to the success of Ventura Lambrate 2011.
If you missed Ventura Lambrate 2011, we hope to see you next year at Ventura Lambrate 2012!
The coming months Organisation in Design will work on other great projects, like Glasstress 2011(Venice), Qubique (Berlin), et cetera. And we will start focussing on Ventura Lambrate again from September 2011.

Dezeen, the online architecture and design magazine, launches its dedicated video website at Ventura Lambrate this year. Called Dezeen Screen - www.dezeenscreen.com - the site aims to become the world’s leading resource for video content about architecture, design and interiors.
At Milan this year the Dezeen film crew will be documenting events at Ventura Lambrate, profiling exhibitors and interviewing leading figures. If you’ve got a project in the area, Dezeen would love to hear from you! Films will be posted on www.dezeenscreen.com during and after the week.

Organisation in Design, the founders, art directors and organisation behind Ventura Lambrate proudly present Ventura Lambrate 2011!
Starting from an underdog position in the Milan Design Week, Ventura Lambrate 2010 immediately turned into the must-see design district in Milan for the period of the Salone, with a strong selection of 21 of the most interesting exhibitions.
The overwhelming success of Ventura Lambrates’ first edition resulted in hundreds of exhibitors applying to take part in the second edition. Organisation in Design started its selection process in which creativity, quality, experimentation and content were as important as in 2010, but for Ventura Lambrate 2011, a stronger focus was also put on diversity and internationality.
With great pleasure we now announce that 45 of the most exciting, inspiring, creative exhibitions from all over the world are selected for Ventura Lambrate 2011.
The first confirmed exhibitors for Ventura Lambrate 2011 were already announced in January 2011. The “Cowo®” project started in the Lambrate district in 2008, from the coworking space located in via Ventura 3 - c/o the communication agency “Monkey Business” - one of the first professional spaces in Europe to take part in the coworking global movement, focused on the collaborative and sustainable sharing of space by independent professionals, Cowo®, which eventually developed into an organized network of +50 spaces in 30 Italian cities, is now happy to offer free coworking space to all Fuorisalone visitors of Ventura Lambrate, in order to network with the local coworking community and promote this innovative workstyle. By sending an email to welcome@monkeybusinessmilano.it , all professionals will be able to reserve a free desk complete with wifi connection, every day from 9 am to 6 pm, from April 12 to April 17th, 2011. The free desks will be available in the Via Ventura 3 offices of Monkey Business, and possibly in a second location within the area (to be confirmed). Organisation in Design is now working on the second edition of their project Ventura Lambrate. Also this year, they are the Art Directors of the area, they will curate the content of the event, and they are responsible for the complete organisation of the project.
High quality, creativity, content and experimentation are the key aspects of Ventura Lambrate 2011!
The event will present the most interesting expressions of the design world in a fresh and exciting context. We are proud to announce the presence of more internationally spread exhibitors in the Ventura Lambrate area, where both the press and the public are positively challenged by interesting exhibitions and new designs.
Ventura Lambrate 2011 will host exhibitions by interesting, international designers, design studio’s, galleries, labels, academies and cultural institutions who have been given the possibility to show their projects with as much freedom and creativity as possible.
A special selection of never before used grand spaces further enhance the post-industrial charm of Ventura Lambrate and the uniqueness of the new ideas on show.

In 2010 Ventura Lambrate exceeded all expectations, starting from an underdog position in the Milan Design Week, it immediately turned into the must-see design district in Milan for the period of the Salone.
And Ventura Lambrate 2011 promises to be an even more important cultural event, not only for Milan, but for the global world of creative professionals, and for an immense international audience composed by press members and design enthusiasts.
